Breakfast Bowl

Almost perfectly proportioned, and formed by hand, Leonard Ceramics Breakfast Bowls are a pleasure to use. Each bowl is thrown on the potter's wheel individually, resulting in an organic charm unique to each. The set of bowls are formed with brown stoneware - a clay body that features black speckles throughout which appear as dots on the object surface. The tall, unfinished foot of each bowl reveals the natural clay colour. 

The body of each bowl is covered in a speckled blueish-grey tinted glaze, featuring patches that appear as tears on the surface that reveal the underlying creamy yellow tones - reminiscent of ancient Japanese raku ware.
